In addition to high-speed Internet service, Horizon will provide High Definition TV service as well as Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) phone service. This wireless network infrastructure will be delivered via software designed specifically for radio systems that use the LTE-Advanced 4G standard (Release 13).
But for the Bermuda community there's good news, the new Internet communications provider (ISP) horizoon communications - this high-speed Internet provider will be based in Bermuda and serve the entire Caribbean. They will use LTE wireless communications to provide user communication. Their services will include internet speeds up to 150 Mbps in 2018 and 300 Mbps and even faster by the end of 2018 in early 2019.
In addition to high-speed Internet, they transmit high definition television services.
Internet Protocol (VoIP) service. This wireless infrastructure will be transferred through user software using the LTE-Advanced 4G standard.
After attracting and successfully growing capital, the horizon plans to launch a business in Bermuda by mid 2018. By using this technology, they will be distributed to Caribbean countries and other countries in Central America.
There are great opportunities to increase wireless network offerings in the Caribbean region and especially Bermuda. Current offers in this region can be very slow and unreliable. Most of the competition can only offer speeds of ten Mbps. Fast and reliable internet becomes very important for many people and businesses.
